Day1, Delhi-Varanasi: Welcome upon arrival at International airport then transfer to Domestic Airport take flight to Varanasi. After arrival in Varanasi check in hotel and take some hour rest and in afternoon visit Ghats of Varanasi its very beautiful to see Ghats and old buildings reflection in water of Ganges. Witness evening ceremony sitting on boat and facing to Ganga Arti at Dashshwamedh Ghat, Overnight in Varanasi.


Day 4, Agra Visit: Upon arrival in Agra train station drive to hotel for wash and change and after it visit to Red fort in Agra and other monuments.


Agra Fort

As you enter and start to cross courtyard after courtyard, you realize that Agra has one of the finest Mughal forts in India. This red sandstone and marble architecture exudes power and grandiosity. Agra fort was primarily begun by Emperor Akber in 1565 as a military structure and was later transformed into a palace by his grandson Emperor Shah Jahan. Some of the most iconic structures in Mughal history are still a part of this fort, such as Shish Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwan-e-aam (Hall of general audience) and Diwan-e-khaas (Hall of private audiences). The Amar Singh gate, which was originally built to confuse attackers with its dogleg design, is now the sole point of entry to the fort.

 

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah

This tomb is the first to be built in white marble instead of red sandstone, which officially marked the cessation of red sandstone from Mughal architecture. Itimad-ud-Daula is sometimes referred to as the “baby Taj” or a draft of the Taj Mahal, as it has been constructed with the same elaborate carvings and pietra dura (cut-out stone work) inlay techniques.

The tomb is surrounded by beautiful gardens that make it the perfect site to relax and experience the beauty of an old era that was rich in art, culture, and history.


Day 5, Agra-Delhi-Haridwar: Taj Mahal

People from all around the world may not have heard of Agra, but everyone knows the beautiful ivory white-marble mausoleum, Taj Mahal, as the icon of love. This wonder of the world is the perfect example of the intricacy and brilliance of Persian and Mughal architecture. It was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan, in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Today, the Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it continues to hold the same magical appeal, attracting approximately eight million tourists a year. Viewing of the Taj Mahal is usually from sunrise to sunset, except Fridays. Night viewing of the Taj Mahal is only allowed on five nights of the month: the night of the full moon and two days before and after. visit the world famous Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Also visit the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. After visiting TajMahal early morning and back to Hotel for breakfast and then drive to Delhi and Haridwar for overnight stay. Witness evening ceremony in Haridwar.

Day 6, Haridwar-Rishikesh: After breakfast visiting to holy places in Haridwar as Har ki pauri is most holy place in Haridwar as you can see thousands of people each day taking holy bath and doing ritual on bank of Holy Ganges. Haridwar mean Gateway for land of Abode, its one of seven secured places in India. Visiting Ashram for Swami Ganpati Sachidananda on bank of Ganges and in the evening drive to Rishikesh for overnight stay.

 

Day7, Rishikesh-Ruderprayag: After breakfast drive to Himalayas as on the way visiting to Holy Vashistha cave and spending time doing meditation and enjoy time at Ganges taking bath in Holy water. After this drive to Dev Prayag visiting holy confluence of two holy rivers and ancient temple of Lord Rama for 1-11th Century AD. After it drive to Shrinagar visiting to ancint temple of Shiva Kamleshwar Mahadev. Organising rituals at temple them drive to Ruderparayag for overnight stay.

Day8, Ruderparayg-Badrinath: After breakfast drive to Holy cave of Shiva at Koteshwar Mahadev and after visiting cave drive to Badrinath and visit to temple at evening ceremony.

Badrinath: A place, which holds so many myths and legends, Badrinath acquires predominance in the travel itinerary of a pilgrim. The popular belief is that Badarinath was the domain of Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu managed to unseat Shiva from here to Kedarnath. Another belief is that when Ganga made her descend to earth she split up in to twelve streams and one among the channels, Alakananda felt on Kedarnath. Sanctity and holiness of Badrinath festooned it with accolades since from the Vedic ages. This sacred abode of Nara-Narayana sages had been a revered seat and the Vedas like Srimad Bhagavatam, gave testimony to its devoutness.

It is not just shrines and pilgrimage that Badrinath offers. It proffers the awesome beauty of the snow clad mountain peaks and the surging landscapes of the Garhwal region. It is a scenic place with picture book sceneries, undulating peaks, sacred ponds and water bodies, Badrinath makes the visitor spellbound with its unparalleled gorgeousness. This majestic look of Badrinath is attributed much by the presence of the magnificent rivers Rishi Ganga and Alaknanda. Apart from the natural beauty, Badrinath presents excellent opportunity for those who love escapades and recreational activities.

 

 

Day 9, Badrinath-Joshimath: After breakfast drive to Mana Village and then small trekking to Vasudhara water fall if someone is in very good health condition so we can visit to Vasudhara water fall 4 km from Mana Village. Way back visiting to Rock bridge over Saraswati River, Ganesha cave and Ved Vyasa cave. After lunch drive to Joshimath for overnight stay.

Note: If someone wants take holy dip in hot water spring just below down to Temple, so you can take holy dip.

 

Day10, Joshimath-Chopta: After breakfast visit to Adi Guru Shankaracharya cave, He was meditation at this cave and then he got enlightenment before going to Badrinath, There is tree for 2500 years old just over cave. After this drive to Gopeshwar, its beautiful ancient temple of Lord Shiva. Drive Chopta known as Mini Switzerland for enchanting Himalayan panorama. Ovrernight in Chopta amidst of Forest.

 

Day11, Chopta-Tungnath-Guptkashi: After early breakfast trekking for 3.4 km gradually higher in Himalayas for 3680 Meter with magnificent view of Himalayas, Its beautiful ancient temple of Lord Shiva one of 5 holy temples in Himalyas. After this trekking down and drive to Guptkashi ancient town for Lord Shiva for overnight stay.

 

 

Day12, Guptkashi-Visit school-Rishikesh : After breakfast drive to Our school in Himalayas and after spending time with kids and sharing experience drive to Rishikesh for overnight stay.

Day13. Rishikesh: Excursion in Rishikesh: Yoga session in morning some hours and then breakfast. After breakfast visit to holy site in Rishikesh, It is one of most holy town in India and also known as international capital of Yoga. There are many temples and Ashrams. Most highlighting is visiting Ram Jhula, Lakshamn Jhula suspension bridges and other holy places. Visiting Swami Shivananda Ashram as very important as Yoga was started in India for common world in 1936 after foundation of Divine Life Society, visiting Ashram and residence as memorial of Swami Shivananda. It’s special energy after doing meditation there. Visiting to Beetles Ashram amidst of forest and now its part of National park, In 1968 Beetles were in Rishikesh for transcendental meditation with group of 60 people. This ruined destiny of yoga and meditation will give you very different impression as this place was designed for meditation purpose. After visiting several other holy places witness Ganga ceremony at Parmarth Niketan Ghat. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day14. Departure: After breakfast or lunch drive to Delhi for get flight back to your own destination. Wish you all happy memories.

What to Bring with you?

  1. All these places are holy places except to Agra so you all are requested to bring full sleeve shirt and long pant.
  2. Sports shoes for short trekking in Himalayas.
  3. Enough warm clothing for Himalayas.
  4. Woollen and cotton shocks 2 pairs.
  5. Sun cap and sunglasses for protection from sun.
  6. Sun cream for protection from sun protection.

Temperature in September/October:

It’s warm in Varanasi, Agra, Rishikesh-Haridwar but in Badrinath it will be 7/8 degree in night and day will be pleasant.
